Dow’s Eastern White Shingles & Shakes is a 5th family generation business operating out of Corinth, Maine since 1921. We are well known for our high-quality 5/8” machine-sawn shakes using eastern white cedar, cut in Maine, from approved FSC harvested timber. Each shingle and shake we produce is made following the strictest guidelines for quality and dimension. We also offer lumber, timber, and posts using FSC harvested timber. Standard sizes are available for all our products but we also offer custom sizes per your architectural needs and we ship our products all across the USA.

Handled with Care - Jeff Jr. delivers most all the shingles and shakes that they manufacture on his truck, or gets Jeff Sr. to deliver them with his big truck. Delivery is offered for a few reasons. First, if the shingles and shakes are put on their trucks and they deliver them in person, the product will not be damaged. Second, it gives Jeff Sr. and Jeff Jr. a chance to meet and talk to their customers in person, personally answering any questions they might have, and establishing a very good personal business relationship. Both Jeff Sr. and Jeff Jr. like the idea of repeat customers so customer satisfaction is a must.
