About The Business
St. Bernadette Catholic School is a Roman Catholic elementary school serving students in Pre-K through Grade 8. Inspired in faith and rooted in Gospel values, St. Bernadette, as a ministry of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, is dedicated to excellence in Catholic education. In partnership with each family, neighboring parish and faith community, our principal, faculty and staff endeavor to instill in each child a life-long commitment to learning, service to others and trust in God. St. Bernadette provides the foundation for each child to grow in spiritual development, wisdom, faith and integrity in order to prepare them to meet any future challenges.
Before School Care
St. Bernadette School offers before school care for any student in preschool through 8th grade. Care is available from 7:00 am to 8:30 am daily, only on days that school is in session. Only students currently enrolled in the school are eligible for care. Students may bring their own breakfast and are able to purchase milk. Families must be registered in order for their children to participate. For more information or to obtain a registration form, please contact the school office.
After School Care/Extended Day Program
St. Bernadette School offers after school care for any student in preschool through 8th grade. Care is available from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily, only on days that school is in session, or from 12:00 pm to 6:00pm on early dismissal days. Only students currently enrolled in the school are eligible for care. Snacks are provided each day. Families must be registered in order for their children to participate. For more information or to obtain a registration form, please contact the school office.
Band/Instrumental Music Lessons
St. Bernadette School offers instrumental music lessons for students in grades 4-8. Arrangements can be made by contacting the school office. Because lessons are conducted during the school day, students are responsible for making up missed schoolwork. Band concerts are presented twice during the year with the North American Martyrs band. Students are expected to attend the four Saturday practices and the band concerts.
