What began as a window installation company in 1978, Gilkey began manufacturing its line of vinyl windows in 1986. Since then, this premier manufacturer and installer of residential window and door products have expanded beyond Cincinnati to include Chicago Ridge, Lexington, Louisville, and Palatine. Over our 40 years of replacing many windows, on thousands of homes, we have the knowledge and ability to do an excellent job for you. Since we have long-term experience in this industry, we have designed our windows and doors to avoid future problems. We do keep in mind that you can’t fool Mother Nature. We are detail-oriented and we guarantee that you will love your Gilkey Windows! Gilkey Windows are more expensive to manufacture. If we sold our windows through franchises and distributors like other brands, then they would be so expensive, only the highest income households could afford them. Franchises and distributors tack on an additional 20%-40% mark-up on top of the windows.

At Gilkey, we eliminate the middle man. There’s no franchise markup; each window is manufactured right here in America in our 50,000 square foot facility and installed by a Gilkey employee. So, you CAN afford Gilkey quality, without the inflated price.
